Meet Rachel! Rachel’s session started off a bit different from the rest, in that we had her mom, Colleen AND her dad Steve at the consultation. But it didn’t stop there! Mom and dad came to Rachel’s senior session. In fact, they came to her ordering session and again to pick up her products. We LOVED this!! Don’t get us wrong, we totally understand that it’s not easy for both parents to be a part of each step for many different reasons, but if it is at all possible, we love interacting with them throughout this process. And it was so much fun being able to get to know Rachel, Colleen, Steve and even little sister Kayla that much better!
Rachel was very laid back and easy going throughout her senior session, which lent to most of our time spent cutting up and laughing. And she had amazing style! From dressy dresses to laid back t-shirts and jeans with everything in between – perfect to get all those great shots.
One of the more important images to capture was showcasing her time in powerlifting. Although she wasn’t powerlifting her senior year, it had been a big part of her life. Ask either one of her parents and they would literally beam as they’d pull out videos and pictures from past meets saved on their cell phones to share and tell you all about what had happened.
Rachel really wanted some photos captured outside, preferably around a barn setting. We told her, no problem! We knew just the place. And we were able to create some beautiful images of her in that setting. They’re still some of our favorites.
Rachel is one of the faces of David Hamrick Photography, and we couldn’t be happier that she and her family chose us to take her senior pictures. We want to wish her the very best as she goes on to study Criminal Justice at Collin County in the fall.
